Your name, phone number and email are replaced with placeholders before any AI request.

Every claim checked

Open method

How the score is calculated.

Seven checks, 100 points, fixed rules. The same CV always gets the same score, and every point lost is tied to a named issue and a fix.

The seven HazirCV sub-scores, their maximum points and what each one measures
CheckPointsWhat is measured
Parseability25A real text layer rather than a scanned image, a single column, no tables or text boxes inside Experience and Education, contact details in the body rather than the page header or footer, no text inside images, and standard or embedded fonts.
Keywords25Whether the CV states the target job title and the hard skills, tools, certifications and soft skills expected for the role — measured against a pasted job advert when there is one, otherwise against a role vocabulary. Exact and known-synonym matches only.
Structure15Summary, Experience, Education and Skills sections under standard headings, with roles listed newest first.
Contact details10A detected name, a phone number in international format, a valid email address, a city and country, and a LinkedIn URL.
Dates10Readable start and end dates on every role, one role marked Present, and no reversed or overlapping ranges. Employment gaps are flagged for awareness and never cost points.
Bullet quality10Achievement bullets that open with an action verb, carry a number, run to a sensible length and avoid first-person pronouns and “responsible for” phrasing. Each criterion is scaled by the share of bullets that pass it.
Length5One page for under five years of experience, two pages otherwise, and a normal text density.
Total100HazirCV’s own measure of how screening software reads a CV — not an employer’s score and not a hiring prediction. Any change to these rules is versioned and recorded.

Before you begin

Good questions.
Clear answers.

What the score means, what stays free and how your information is handled.

Is the score the same one employers use?
No. It is HazirCV’s own deterministic measure: a score calculated using fixed rules to assess how an applicant tracking system (ATS) reads a CV. It is not an employer’s score, a pass probability or a prediction of a hiring outcome.
What is an ATS, and why does it matter for a Gulf CV?
An applicant tracking system (ATS) is the software many employers and recruitment agencies use to store, search and shortlist CVs before a person reads them. Many large employers and agencies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar use one, so a CV the software cannot read or search may never reach a recruiter. HazirCV checks how such software reads your CV: layout, headings, dates, contact details, keywords and bullet wording.
How is the score calculated?
Seven checks add up to 100 points: parseability (25), keywords (25), structure (15), contact details (10), dates (10), bullet quality (10) and length (5). Every point lost is tied to a named issue, an explanation and a fix. The rules are fixed code, so the same CV always gets the same score, and any change to them is versioned. See what each check measures.
Is the free tier really free?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever. It includes your CV score with seven sub-scores, top fixes, job-advert term matching and one clean PDF per CV version with a small HazirCV badge.
Does the AI invent achievements?
The writing help is designed to reword facts already in your CV. Each rewrite or cover letter is checked line by line, and anything it cannot find in your CV is flagged before you accept it. Review each suggestion before adding it to your CV.
Where is my data stored?
Parsed CVs and scores are stored in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Uploads, exports and servers run in Doha, Qatar. Your name, phone and email are replaced with placeholders before any AI request. Read the privacy policy.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Settings → Delete account removes your CVs, exports, packs and purchase state on our side straight away. See exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
Does it work for jobs in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Qatar?
Yes — that is what it is built for. The Gulf profile covers the personal details employers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar commonly expect, and the international profile drops them for remote and Western applications. Both export a single-column CV designed to be read by screening software.
Which CV format do employers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia expect?
A single-column CV of one to two pages: a short summary, experience newest first with dated roles and achievement bullets, then skills and education. Many Gulf employers also expect a personal details block — nationality, visa status, notice period, sometimes a photo — which HazirCV’s Gulf profile includes only when you add it. Remote and Western employers do not, so the international profile leaves those fields out.
Which formats can I upload?
Upload a PDF or Word document, photograph a printed CV or resume, or paste or type your text. You can export a clean, single-column PDF or DOCX in Gulf or international format.
Who builds HazirCV

Built in Dubai, by one developer.

HazirCV is built and run by Imran Khan, an independent software developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates — the same individual named as the data controller in the privacy policy. There is no company behind the name: the person who wrote the code is the person who answers the support inbox.

It was built for the market it serves — expatriate and national job seekers applying to employers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and to remote roles, whose CVs are read by screening software before a person sees them. Everything numeric is calculated in code against fixed, versioned rules. The writing help only rewords facts already in your CV, and every suggestion is checked against it before you accept.
